Steroid and Testosterone Addicts Anonymous Starts TODAY!
On Monday I received a call from a woman, this is one of many calls I get. She said, “Lisa, I follow your website and subscribe to your blog. My husband was on testosterone and his levels were 4x what they should have been. One of his doctors told us with those levels along with another medical condition he would have no control over his behavior.”
A year and half ago I made the decision to go public with what is one of the biggest emerging addictions we have seen among middle agers. I opened myself up to criticism, ridicule and opposition. I and put myself in a vulnerable position by doing this and sharing part of my own story.
When I launched my website a friend of mine said, “Lisa, why are you doing this? Okay, yeah, you had a bad experience with testosterone, get over it and move on, people are talking. To which I replied, what are they saying? She said, well they are just talking. At that moment I looked at her and said, you’re right, I could move on and let it go but someone needs to do this so it might as well be me. I’ve got two feet on the ground let them talk.”Today marks the inaugural meeting of Steroid and Testosterone Addicts Anonymous. I was shocked by the stories on web site. I am a 62 old male on pellets for 12 years and it saved my marriage. I had no sex drive and was depressed. Often fell asleep early in the evening setting up MY total t was 238.
If needed it is a blessing , if not don’t take it . I only take med to correct . If my Dr was not trained he might overdose me and I would experience the problems it your website. I have no negative symtoms.The problem many did not need treatment to begin with.
